Together with their sisters around the world, the American community of the Little Company of Mary  continue the tradition of their founder to seek justice for all, and to improve the quality of life for all men, women and children.

As well as the United States, communities and facilities of  the Little Company of Mary are located in Albania, Australia, Ireland,  Italy, Korea, New ZealandTonga , Southern Africa, ,  the United Kingdom

Welcome to the American Province of  the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary.

Founded by Mother Mary Potter in 1877, the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary arrived in Chicago in  1893. The history of our first foundations can be found here and here

From the early days of  district nursing in Chicago, the works of the Little Company of Mary expanded. Hospitals were built to care for  the sick and dying, and today, the American Province provide healthcare through  their facilities in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Jasper.
